Acceptable Use Policy
Draft structure for review. The restricted and prohibited business lists must be aligned with acquiring partner and payment network requirements.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all merchants using AVD Gate services and forms part of the Terms of Service. It describes business models and activities that cannot be supported on the platform.
2. Prohibited business activities
The following categories cannot be processed:
- Activities prohibited by applicable law or by payment network rules.
- Sale of illegal goods, controlled substances or counterfeit products.
- Unlicensed financial services, unlicensed gambling and pyramid or matrix schemes.
- Services facilitating fraud, identity theft or the circumvention of sanctions.
3. Restricted activities
Certain sectors may be supported only after additional review and documentation. Availability depends on the merchant’s licensing, jurisdiction and risk profile.
4. Platform integrity
Merchants must not misrepresent the nature of transactions, process payments on behalf of undisclosed third parties, split transactions to avoid limits, or attempt to interfere with the security of the platform.
5. Monitoring and enforcement
AVD Gate monitors activity for compliance with this policy. Suspected breaches may result in additional checks, transaction holds, suspension of processing or termination of the agreement.
